Strain description

This strain of mice has a floxed exon in Cyth2 gene. The Cyth2 gene can be silenced (knocked out) by the mating with Cre mice.

Cytohesin-2 acts as guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) and is involved in the intracellular signal transduction pathway regulated by G proteins.
