Strain description

βMHC-p35 Tg mice are transgenic mice specifically expressing baculovirus p35 and EGFP by mouse βMHC promoter in cardiomyocytes. Baculovirus p35, a caspase inhibitor, is known to stop apoptosis in host cells, thus this strain is useful for the research of apoptosis in cardiomyocytes.
