Strain description

Floxed mice of the Aars2 gene, one of the causative genes for progressive leukoencephalopathy. Two loxPs have been inserted into introns 2 and 4 of the Aars2 gene by genome editing (Cre causes the removal of exons 3-4). The mice are expected to be used as conditional knockout mice in the study of progressive leukoencephalopathy.
