Strain description

Transgenic mice expressing a probe with lox-mCherry-NLS added upstream of a cytoplasmically-localized FRET biosensor (Booster-PKA) that monitors the kinase activity of PKA. The mice with mCherry-NLS recombination induced by crossing with EIIa-Cre (+/+) mice systemically express Booster-PKA. Background strain heterozygous for the Tyrc gene is a hybrid between wild-type B6N and B6N Albino mice.
