Knockout mice of Caveolin 1 (CAV1), a major component of the cell membrane caveola. They were created by introducing a stop codon by inserting a single base into Exon 3 of the Cav1 gene by genome editing. It is expected to be used as a model for pulmonary fibrosis. |
