Strain description

Knockout mice for the Ccdc83 gene, produced by genome editing. Ccdc83 is one of cancer/testis antigens expressed in different tumors and normal testes. The Ccdc83 is reportedly involved in colon cancer (Song et al., 2012). This strain is useful for the study of cancer and spermatogenesis.
