Strain description

Derlin-3 KO mice are knockout mice for the Derl3 gene. These mice are born normally according to Mendelian inheritance. In organs, such as the liver, the expression levels of ER-associated degradation (ERAD) related proteins were affected under normal and ER stress conditions. This strain is expected as a useful model to elucidate the relationship between ERAD and stress or pathologic conditions. Derlin-3 is an endoplasmic reticulum membrane protein and a member of the Derlin family.
