| Strain description |
L1-EGFP#84 mice are transgenic mice to be able to monitor LINE1 dynamics by using EGFP expression as a indicator. This strain is available for assay system of carcinogen. These mice express ORF1 and ORF2 which are human L1 elements under the control of their own promoter, and express EGFP when transgene is introduced in genome by retro transposition. This strain has 16 lines. It's possible to supply mL1-EGFP mice which express mouse L1 elements. |
