Strain description |
The Plau gene encodes the urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA), a serine protease, and the 378th serine is the active site of the enzyme. This strain has a mutation in which the 378th serine of the Plau gene has been replaced with alanine by genome editing using CRISPR/Cas9. |
