Strain description

A mouse strain in which the Tnfrsf1a gene was knocked out by genome editing (CRISPR / Cas9). It was created by setting gRNAs at two exons 3 and 4 of the Tnfrsf1a gene and deleting the middle part of the coding region. The Tnfrsf1a gene is the causative gene of TNF receptor-related periodic syndrome and is also involved in pulmonary fibrosis. This mouse strain is useful for studying these diseases.
