Strain description

This strain is C57BL/6CrSlc congenic mouse ofADAMTS13 KO, which is Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) model mouse and 129+Ter/SvJcl background (nbio061, ref.1). ADAMTS13 expression is different among mouse strains. That is, 129 strain expresses full length ADAMTS13whereasC57BL/6 strain expresses C-terminal domain deleted ADAMTS13 by inserting retrotransposon into ADAMTS13 genes (2).
