Strain description

The αMHC TIGAR KO (-/-) Cre(-) mice are mice heterozygous for a floxed TIGAR gene (TIGAR-flox/flox), in which exon 2 is flanked by LoxP sequences by homologous recombination. TIGAR genes are not knocked out in the mice since the mice have no αMHC-Cre transgene (αMHC-Cre(-)). Systemic TIGAR KO mice are also available.
