Strain description |
The CG mouse is a transgenic mouse overexpressing human normal β-galactosidase (β-Gal) in whole body, which was developed to study GM1-gangliosidosis, a typical human neurological genetic disease. Transgenes are consisted of CAG promoter and human β-Gal cDNA. CG mice also express mouse endogenous β-Gal. |
