Strain description |
Cmah Tg VH-H mice specifically express Cmah (CMP-Neu5Ac hydroxylase), an enzyme which converts molecular species from N-Acetylneuraminic acid to N‐glycolylneuraminic acid, in lymphocytes. These mice express high Cmah mainly in B-cells, thus it supplements loss of Cmah from somatic cell copies down-regulated in the B-cell activation. As a result, Cmah Tg mice keep to express Cmah in activated B-cells. This strain is available for disease research about immunosuppression. The line H shows specifically middle expression of Cmah in B-cells. We supply other 2 lines, G line (nbio064) and JA line (nbio066). |
