Strain description

This strain is a systemic knockout mouse expressing cytohesin-1. This straiin has no effect on reproduction and survival. Cytohesin-1 is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) and mostly expressing in immune cells. These mice are delayed the myelination in developmental process, consequently reduced the yield of myelin. This strain is expected to apply for the research of peripheral neurodegenerative disease such as hypomyelination.
