Strain description

D-glutamate cyclase (Dglucy, a.k.a.,9030617O03Rik) is an enzyme which converts D-glutamate to 5-oxo-D-proline. The Dglucy-KO mice are knockout mice for the Dglucy gene. The mice are useful for analyzing D-amino acid functions in mammals. Mice for conditional Dglucy KO mouse production (Dglucy cKO mice) are also available.
