Gene information
Mutation types transgenic
Gene symbol CFP, YFP, Keima
Gene name Cyan Fluorescent Protein, Yellow Fluorescent Protein, Keima
Genotyping information The presence of transgenes can be confirmed by red fluorescence (~620nm, Keima's color) from body surface under blue light (~450nm). Note that it may be difficult to detect red fluorescence in new born pups just after the delivery. It is easier to detect fluorescence from foot pads of 1- to 2-week-old pups.
