Strain description |
Homozygous male mice of this strain shows decreasing testis weight, the absence of spermatozoa in epididymis, reduction and abnormality of elongated spermatid, and infertility (spermatogenetic failure). Homozygous female mice of this strain have no abnormality in ovary. This strain has insertion mutation of transgene (human phosphodiesterase 5A) and destroys Testicular haploid expressed gene (Theg) in the kisimo locus. |
