Strain description

PKAchu-NC mice are transgenic mice expressing förster (or fluorescence) resonance energy transfer (FRET) biosensor AKAR3EV-NC under the control of CAG promoter in whole body. AKAR3EV-NC, which is muteted in phosphorylation site on the substrate of cytoplasm-localized FRET biosensor AKAR3EV monitoring PKA kinase activity, is possible to use as the negative control of every cytoplasm-localized FRET biosensor, including AKAR3EV or EKAREV.
