Strain description |
D-glutamate cyclase (Dglucy, a.k.a.,9030617O03Rik) is an enzyme which converts D-glutamate to 5-oxo-D-proline. The Dglucy-Tg mice are transgenic mice with heart-specific expression, driven by mouse α-MHC promoter, of the Dglucy gene. No apparent phenotypic change was observed. The mice are useful for analyzing D-amino acid functions in mammals. Mice for conditional Dglucy KO mouse production (Dglucy cKO mice) and Dglucy KO mice are also available. |
