Strain description

Yok:ICR mice were derived from Swiss mice. The coat color is white (albino). This strain was introduced to our laboratory from Charles River Laboratories, and we have been maintaining this strain as a closed colony. This strain has been used for general purposes (infectious diseases, immunology etc.). MPS and ICGN strains were derived from our Yok:ICR closed colony.
